Course Overview
This comprehensive TEFL Certificate, externally moderated by WECI Institute in Hua Hin, Thailand provide you with an introduction to TEFL teaching methodology, and highlights your awareness of the English Language and it pronunciation and provides an invaluable insight into Thai and Asian learner problems. Most importantly it gives many hours of observed teaching practice with Thai and detailed feedback of each lesson with your assigned trainer/observer.
The course is open to both Native English speakers and those who have a high level of written and spoken English, in order to cope with the demands of the course. Prior teaching experience is not a pre-requisite and the course is open to all nationalities.
Your performance during the course is assessed in different ways, including your course work, teaching practice, course presentations, short, end of module exams and final test. TEFL trainees are assessed using a variety of different tools, and passing the course does not rely solely on a final exam, as this represents only a small percentage of the total assessment.
A great deal of importance is put on your development as a teacher, through your increased knowledge over the course of the 4 weeks, and your performance in the classroom. You will be surprised at just how much you can achieve and many trainees view taking a TEFL Certification as one of the most useful and rewarding things they have done in their lives.
Your course books and materials are issued to you on receipt of payment, along with a handy bag.
